Well, it seems we have another polarising question splitting the internet. Yanny v Laurel. Why can we not just have peace in our time?
This is why we can’t have nice things, and why history will judge us. From the same nonsense forces that brought us the white/blue dress debacle comes another great question of our time: Is it saying yanny or laurel?

That is indeed the question being posed over on Twitter, as our great society is again split into two disparate camps, just as they were two years gone. Families, unions and partnerships carved in twain. Have we not learned from the horrific lessons of the past?
Why are we again too keen to pick up arms and swing them at our neighbours?
it’s so clearly laurel. I can’t even figure out how one would hear yanny.

I can’t even describe how clearly I hear #LAUREL. Like the clearest pronunciation maybe I’ve ever heard of the word. And the people I’m with right now ARE FUCKING HEARING #YANNY . Like what the serious fuck? Am I having a stroke?
