The wait is over. Noted novelist Pauline Hanson’s latest tome has hit the shelves this morning, replete with not just a notable name in the foreword:

 

 

But also with a ringing endorsement (of sorts) from a notable leader gone by. When quizzed on why she’s now pals with one-time antagonist, Tony Abbott, Pauline opined that she’s of the mind to forgive and forget, just like Nelson Mandela did.

 

 

Just a quick summation. Nelson Mandela, the father of a unified South Africa, and Pauline Hanson, the, um, strange aunt of divided Australia? Odd bedfellows, sure. But before you ratchet the rhetoric beyond a Bee-Gee timbre, how well do you know your Mandela? Well, be prepared to be moderately (conservatively) humbled.
